Town Hall (Poncha Springs Schoolhouse)

Light stone quoins and a belvedere-type bell cupola distinguish this two-story Italianate schoolhouse of red brick. Within the L plan are classrooms with 12-foot-high-pressed tin ceilings, slate blackboards, Oregon fir floors, and pine trim and wain-scoting. Today the well-preserved schoolhouse contains a museum and town offices in a park shaded by large old cottonwoods.
