These Queen Anne rowhouses employ projecting and recessed bays to define eight units distinguished by a variety of facade detailing, roof shapes, and a large central pavilion with a pyramidal roof. Fireplaces and wood-work remain intact, and staircases still lead to shared plumbing on the second floor, old-fashioned washstands flanked by separate toilet and tub rooms. Despite minor changes and loss of some elements over time, this fanciful terrace still flaunts an exuberance to lure Denverites accustomed to single-family, detached dwellings.
