1912, John Bergesen. 1st and Phillips sts., Coaldale, 4 miles northeast of Tamaqua

The multiple domes rising above this church add a wonderfully picturesque quality to Coaldale's skyline. Bergesen was a Russian immigrant whose New York City practice specialized in Russian Orthodox churches.
