Blackshear Neighborhood Bungalows

These small bungalows responded to the need for sensitive contemporary infill residential design in East Austin. Known locally as the “Hatch Houses,” they were a contributing factor to the revitalization of this once blighted neighborhood. They continue to serve as a model for other infill projects in the city's historic areas.
