Grove Street Houses

-A A +A
c. 1900. 800 block of Grove St.

These houses for workers in the nearby industrial district are typical of their type. They are simple frame buildings with repetitive shapes that give a geometric rhythm to the street. Two stories in height with front ells and porches fitted into the reentrant angles, the residences are, except for some later siding, almost unmodified.
