Hern's Mill Covered Bridge

-A A +A
1884. Greenbrier County 40, 2.2 miles south of intersection with U.S. 60, over Milligan Creek

Just down a country road from Swift Level, this red-painted, 53-foot-long covered bridge with a queen post truss system was built for $800. It remains in an idyllic rural setting, but Hern's Mill, to which it gave access, is no longer standing.
