Wilson Lodge

-A A +A
1957 and later. .5 mile southeast of the Oglebay Mansion
  • (West Virginia Collection within the Carol M. Highsmith Archive, Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division)

First opened in 1957, this rustic lodge has since been expanded to include 212 guest rooms and attendant facilities. Built of rough-hewn stone and stained wood and divided into several horizontally oriented units, it reflects an intentionally naturalistic approach to park lodging.
