Indian Hot Springs

-A A +A
1869; additions. 302 Soda Creek Rd.

Harrison Montague built the stone and frame center portion of the current lodge and a natatorium and baths using the hot mineral waters of Soda Creek. Another $300,000 in improvements included twenty-four cottages (c. 1912), a two-story, thirty-two-room main lodge (1905), and a dining room (1924). Water ranging from 104 to 112 degrees F. is used for a large, plastic-domed pool and for various private baths, including some subterranean stone caverns with chest-deep pools and a mud bath.
