The first building for the first bank in Crockett County is a long, narrow, two-story structure of rock-faced limestone from a local quarry. Contrasting with the coarse building stone of the walls is an elegant pedimented portico of four Tuscan columns. Heavy modillions support the pediment’s cornices and continue on the side walls. The upper floor is owned by the local Masonic Lodge, and a Masonic emblem is set in the pediment’s tympanum.
In 1968, the bank moved to 503 11th Street on the opposite side of the square to a two-story dark-red granite and black glass building designed by William Parish.
