Ferguson Metals Park

-A A +A
1990–2000, Willie Ferguson. 765 Middlebrook Ave.

Some of Willie Ferguson's Claes Oldenberg-inspired jumbo sheet-metal flowerpots, shoes, coat hangers, and crutches are gathered in a landscaped creekbank yard at Ferguson Metal Fabrication and its junkyard on the southwest side of town. Ferguson, a welder who operates a metal-fabrication shop, is also the sculptor of the giant flowerpot and watering can located near the former Western State Hospital (see AU27).
