Denver's magnificently planned, planted, and maintained parkways are best seen in Northeast Denver (north of Alameda Avenue Parkway and east of University Boulevard). The suggested route, with detours off the connecting parkways to see notable buildings, follows 7th Avenue Parkway to 6th Avenue Parkway (with a side trip on Clermont Street Parkway) to Monaco Street Parkway, Montview Boulevard, Forest Street Parkway, and 17th Avenue Parkway. East Alameda Avenue Parkway is a less lavish latter-day (1970s) rendition.
